Any individual or company with international and foreign exchange payment volumes of more than €200,000 per year is eligible to open a PaySonata account. Restrictions may apply depending on the country of origin, the activity of the company or the origin of the funds.

SEPA (euro) payments are free. International (SWIFT) payments cost a flat €5 per payment with shared fees — the option used for the vast majority of payments — regardless of the amount. If a beneficiary needs to receive the exact full amount with nothing deducted along the way, your adviser can arrange that for you (the “OUR” payment option).

PaySonata specialises in offering SMEs the best possible solution for their needs. Therefore, we do not offer the same scope of services to private individuals. However, in cases of significantly larger private transactions, such as real estate purchases, it may be possible to open a non-commercial account with PaySonata.

At PaySonata, we offer competitive and transparent foreign exchange rates and fees. Unlike most corporate banks, PaySonata does not charge any fees to open an account or any monthly subscription fees.

PaySonata earns a spread on every currency conversion, calculated as the difference between the market rate and the client rate. This spread is transparent and communicated to the client.
